ELDER VERA M. MILLER,
PASTOR AND FOUNDER
E lder Vera M. Miller was born March 5, 1945 in Benton Mississippi. Her mother passed when she was a small child, she was then raised by her father. She heard the call of the Lord which led her and her 5 children to move to Danville, IL, on March 5 th of 1974. On October 7, 1976 she gave her heart to the Lord. She was a member of the East End Church of God in Christ under Bishop I.L. Taylor. She later became the Co-Pastor of the New Kingdom Christian Church where she co-labored in the ministry with her brother, the late Pastor Willie Forman. In 1995, Pastor Miller accepted the call of the Lord to become a Pastor. On Easter Sunday of 1995, the Faith Deliverance Holiness Church of God was born. Pastor Miller was the first woman Pastor to step out on her calling in Danville. Through many trials and tribulations Pastor Miller has continued to hold fast to the call of the Lord. Many thought that Faith Deliverance would not make it. By the grace of God, Pastor Miller and the Faith Family are currently celebrating 14 years of ministry.
